What information is collected?

 

When registering on our site, filling out forms, placing an order, subscribing to our newsletter, or visit our website we collect information that is personally identifiable from you.

 

Upon registering and/or placing an order on our site you’ll be asked for your name, mailing address, e-mail address, telephone number, and credit card information.

 

We use Google as a third party vendor to place ads throughout our site. Google uses cookie enabled ads (DART) to collect information on site visitors to better serve ads based off specific site history. Users can opt out of DART cookies at anytime by visiting the ad and content network privacy policy directly on Google’s site.

We also use a large scope of Social Medias for advertisements, feedback and promotional discounts.

Any information submitted by clients is completely confidential. Credit Card information is only saved through the payment system Stripe, it is never accessible from our end after submission. Information such as name, addresses, etc. is shared solely to individuals working directly with that client through our companies services. Any other forms of payment outside of Stripe are kept secure to protect clients and their privacy, they are not shared with any other persons outside of federal banks.

What is the information collected used for?

 

Info collected from you may be used in the following ways:

• To help us to better respond to your individual needs by personalizing your customer experience.

• To improve our page, as we work to adjust our website regularly based on the info and feedback we receive from you.

• To help us to respond to customer service requests and support needs more efficiently by improving customer service. 

• To process transactions. The info you provide - whether it be private or public - will not be exchanged, transferred, sold or given to any other company for any reason without your knowledge and consent other than for the sole purpose of delivering the services or products you have purchased. 

• To implement a promotion, survey, contest or other site feature we are currently promoting.

• To send email notifications periodically. The address you provide while placing an order will be used to send updates and information to you pertaining to your purchased order. In addition, your email may be subscribed to our VIP newsletter to receiving occasional updates on company news, related products or service information, etc.

How do we protect your information?

 

When placing an order, filling out a form, or accessing account information you’ll be asked to enter a small amount of personally identifiable information. We implement a variety of security measures that work together to maintain our customer’s safety. 

 

Our page offers the use of a secure server. All information you supply while entering sensitive or payment information is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) and encrypted into our payment gateway provider’s network database only accessible to those authorized with special rights to such systems (which are required by law to keep the information confidential).

 

After a transaction is completed, the private information (social security numbers, credit card numbers, financials, etc.) you have provided will not be kept on file for more than 60 days.

 

Do we use cookies?

These contracted service providers are not permitted to use the information collected on our webpage except on our behalf to help us improve our business.

If you are having difficulties placing an order, please give us a call or contact customer service and we will be happy to assist you in completing your order or answering any questions you may have.

PUMS does not trade, sell, or otherwise give out your personally identifiable information to any outside party. This does not include the above mentioned third parties who are trusted in assisting us in operations of our webpage, conducting business, or servicing. These contracted parties are obligated to keep all information confidential. We may also release your information when we believe it is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect ours or others property, rights, or safety. However, information that is non-personally identifiable may be provided to other parties for advertising, marketing or other uses.

Occasionally, we may offer third party services or product advertising on our website. These third party sites have independent privacy policies and are not affiliated with PUMS. We therefore have no liability or responsibilities for the activities and content of these sites linked to PUMS.
